Holidays

Just like everyone else, getting ready for the Christmas Holiday. The weather has been holding out, but it looks like tomorrow may be our first bout of snow. Picked up Mom in Detroit yesterday, and she stated she had a great visit with her sisters and shared a nice Thanksgiving Dinner at niece's house. Hope all is well with the rest of the world.

Home To Michigan

We are now safe and sound back in Michigan. It was hard to leave Phoenix, AZ with 60 & 70 deg weather and coming back to 20 deg weather. It was also hard leaving baby Addison, but seeing George & his family made my visit complete while in Phoeniz. The weather here is cold and we are suppose to be getting 3 to 6 inches of snow. Oh joy! Pack away the summer clothes from Arizona and bring out the good old heavy duty sweats. There are good things about the winter months here in Michigan and that is all the different birds that are flying in for food. We have alot of Blue Jays, Cardinals, Junco(sp?), Titmouse, Nuthatch, Chickedees, and 3 types of Woodpeckers. The deer come in quite often to feed out of the birdfeeder since it's too expensive for deer feed right now, and squirrels often visit as well, so watching the animals right outside the window can be quite entertaining. Well, on with life as we know it in Michigan. Thanks kids for the great time out West.

Great family time with kids and grandkids, George and family drove down from Utah to visit, what a great Christmas present. Haven't had both my son and daughter together at Christmas, so this was a first time and what a joyous time. I was able to have all 3 of my grandkids together at one time and since I don't get to see much of them, with them living out west so this was another great gift. We are here in Phoenix watching Tina & Brett new addition, Addison until Janury 1st and then it will be back home to the snow and cold weather of Michigan. Happy Holidays to all.
